MAXI Curran summed up his Donegal side’s league season as a ‘tough end to a tough campaign’ as it ended without picking up a point.
The Donegal team still had their fate in their own hands ahead of yesterday’s game, as a win would have taken them to three points and level with their opponents Mayo, but leapfrogging them on head-to-head.
But mistakes at the back had them well behind from early on.

“It has been very tough and today is a tough end to it,” Curran said after the game.
