FINN Harps manager Ollie Horgan says he believes a massive improvement is needed if his team is to get anything from Friday’s night’s game against Shelbourne.
Games between the two teams this season have been tight so far, but Horgan insists the visitors are coming into the match on a much better run than his men.
Harps relinquished their spot at the top of the First Division last weekend with defeat in Wexford and have picked up just 9 points from their last six games compared to Shelbourne who have chalked up 14.
“The games to date have been tight, we won at home with a Kevin McHugh penalty the last time, but I think they are on a better run of form than us at the minute and I do believe a big improvement is needed from our lads on Friday night.”
