To mark 7 years in business, Donegal owned and operated Maple Group has launched a fundraising campaign in support of Cancer Care West Letterkenny, Donegal.

This campaign will raise vital funds for local cancer patients and their families.

The fundraiser is underway across Maple’s eight forecourt convenience stores in Milford, Derrybeg (Circle K), Carrigart (Circle K), Castlefinn (Circle K), Falcarragh (Circle K), Burtonport (Donegal Oil), Ballyliffin (Circle K), and Moville (Applegreen), with a ninth Maple store due to open later this year on Main Street, Dunfanaghy.

“We’ve always been community driven, our staff are local, our customers are local, and we buy local,” said Brian Murphy, Group Manager at Maple.

“We’ve had a great response already, and we know that when Donegal people come together for a cause like this, amazing things happen. We’re asking everyone who visits any of our stores to get involved, every small donation really adds up.”

Cancer Care West Letterkenny – Donegal provides free psychological, emotional and practical support to individuals and families affected by cancer throughout Donegal. All funds raised by this Maple campaign will stay within the county to support local services.

“Our centre in Letterkenny sees a growing number of people every year seeking support. Donations like this mean we can continue offering free care, counselling, and vital help during what is often the most difficult time in someone’s life. The fact that this campaign is driven by local people and businesses for local families makes it all the more special.”

Donation stations, in store events, and a customer appreciation day are taking place across the stores over the coming weeks.

Since opening its first store in 2018, the Maple Group has built its business on strong local values, supporting Donegal suppliers, creating local employment, and investing in the communities it serves. This fundraiser is an extension of that commitment.
