ALL roads lead to Manorcunningham this weekend for Sallybrook Commercial Centre’s charity Old Skool Sunday.
Kicking off at 12.30pm on Sunday, August 4, this event is guaranteed to be a great day out for the whole family.
On the day, those in attendance can view a wide range of vintage cars, trucks and tractors before checking out the Tug of War competition which will be happening onsite.
A variety of trade stands will also be set up and there will be face painting to keep the little ones happy.
And if you work up an appetite, Joe from Ocras take-away in Newtowncunningham will be providing food.
A charity auction and raffle will also be taking place with all funds raised going directly to MS Ireland Donegal branch and Breaker Breaker, a mental health charity.
Event organiser, Giles Goudie, told the Donegal News more about the chosen beneficiaries.
“Breaker Breaker kind of concentrates on people in the haulage industry.
“When you are getting into a cab at 5am and you aren’t getting out of it until 5pm or 6pm, it can be a mentally exhausting job.
“We chose MS Ireland Donegal branch because my father had MS and my partner’s father also has MS.
“We said we would do something for that because all those people are volunteers, giving up their time and it is needed.
“There are a lot of people with MS in this county.
“It is a disease that doesn’t really be talked about,” he said.
With lots of fabulous items up for grabs, it is a day not to be missed.
