Man who died in weather-related incident named locally

THE Letterkenny man who died in Friday’s weather-related incident in the town has been named locally as Tommy Connors.

Mr Connors, aged in his 40s, died in the incident which occurred at a domestic property at around 4.15pm.

Gardai confirmed that his body was removed to the morgue at Letterkenny University Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.

Gardaí say enquiries are ongoing and the results of the post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation.
