A MAN had to be taken to Letterkenny University Hospital following an alleged assault in Ballybofey.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the alleged assault at Navenny Street, near the junction with Chesnut Road, on Sunday, July 27 between 9.30pm and 9.50pm.
A man reported that he was assaulted at that location between those times by another man. The injured man was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
