Man sent forward for trial following incident of dangerous driving

A Galway man has been sent forward for trial to Letterkenny Circuit Court facing a charge of dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm.

Eoin Mulvihill was served with the Book of Evidence at Monday’s sitting of Letterkenny District Court.

The charge involves an alleged incident at Rossgarrow, Milford, on September 26, 2024.

Garda Sergeant Jim Collins said that the Director of Public Prosecutions had consented for the accused, who has an address at Ballinfoyle Park, Headford Road, to be sent forward for trial to the current sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court.

Garda Pauline Doherty told the court she had served the defendant with the Book of Evidence at 11.15.a.m. on Monday morning.

Defending solicitor, Patsy Gallagher sought one counsel for his client which was granted by Judge Emile Daly who gave the accused the alibi warning.
