A MAN had to receive medical treatment at Letterkenny University Hospital following an assault in Letterkenny.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the alleged assault on Lower Main Street, which occurred on Sunday, December 7 at 2.35am. The incident was only recently reported to gardaí.
Gardaí have said that the man was reported to have assaulted as he left a premises.

A garda spokesperson said: “He received medical treatment following the incident at Letterkenny University Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. If anyone witnessed the incident or if they have any relevant information/dash-cam footage from the area in question on that date, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074 9167100.”
