GARDA investigations are continuing this afternoon after a man in his 60’s was fatally injured in a road traffic accident overnight.
The man was struck by a vehicle at around 2.50am in the vicinity of McClay’s Corner in Stranorlar.
The body remained at the scene this morning as gardai carried out a full forensic and technical examination.
Gardai put traffic diversions in place and motorists were advised to make alternative travel plans to avoid the area.
