GARDAÍ are appealing for information after a man was kicked in the head in a daytime assault in Letterkenny.

The attack took place on Lower Main Street on Monday evening at 8.20pm.

Gardaí are investigating the incident in which the man was kicked on the head by another man while he was on the ground.

Gardaí have said the injuries sustained by the victim are non-life-threatening in nature.
