A MAN who removed his clothing in public and exposed his genitalia in a lewd manner has had his case at Letterkenny District Court adjourned to the New Year.
The defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was also charged with assault, threatening and abusive behaviour, and damaging the door of a pub.
He made no reply when the charges were put to him, the court heard.
The defendant was charged with failing to provide his name or address at Main Street, Letterkenny, on May 5 last; using threatening and abusive behaviour at the same location intending to provoke a breach of the peace; and damaging a door of the Brewery Bar, the property of Enda Nicholls.
He was further accused of assaulting another man at Castle Street, Letterkenny, on May 5.
Defendant was also charged with removing clothing and exposing his genitalia before grabbing his genitalia and shaking it in a lewd manner towards some members of the public causing them offence.
In addition he was charged with exposing his genitalia causing fear and distress to another person.
The case was adjourned to February 10.
