A MAN was airlifted by helicopter from Errigal Mountain yesterday afternoon with a suspected cardiac arrest.
The incident happened at around 1pm and ambulance crews and Donegal Mountain Rescue crews were tasked to the scene.
The Sligo based Sikorsky 118 Coastguard helicopter was also alerted to the casualty because of the difficult terrain.

It was co-ordinated through Malin Head Coastguard.
They airlifted the casualty off the mountain and brought him to Letterkenny University Hospital.
