Man in his sixties hit by car in Ballybofey

A MAN in his sixties was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital after being struck by a car in Ballybofey last night.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the collision involving a pedestrian and a car on the Main Street at around 9.30pm.

“The pedestrian, a male in his 60s, received treatment for minor injuries at the scene by ambulance personnel and was conveyed to Letterkenny University Hospital for further assessment. There were no other injuries reported,” said a Garda spokesperson.
