A man in his 80s, identified locally as Michael Toland from Annagh, Clonmany, tragically lost his life in a road accident in North Inishowen.
The incident occurred near his home at approximately 6:20 p.m. yesterday evening when he was struck by a van.
The road between Clonmany and Ballyliffin remains closed for a technical investigation, with traffic diversions in place.
