GARDAÍ are investigating an incident of assault in Letterkenny on Tuesday night which saw a man in his 40s treated in hospital for injuries.
The incident happened at around 10.30pm and it’s believed it occurred outside a licensed premises.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed to the Donegal News that Gardaí responded to reports of an incident of assault on Main Street, Letterkenny at approximately 10.30pm on Tuesday.

“A man (40s) was brought to Letterkenny University Hospital to be treated for injuries which are believed to be non life-threatening,” the spokesperson said.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
