THE Garda Ombudsman Commission will investigate the death of a man overnight, while in custody in Buncrana Garda Station.
There is little information, as yet, as to how the man died or why he was in custody.
The Garda Ombudsman Commission will begin their investigation immediately.
Information available so far indicates that the man was believed to have been checked in the early hours of this morning (Monday) and was found dead in the cell.
