A MAN has died following a workplace accident in Cnoc Fola earlier today. Gardaí evacuated the area after an ‘apparent explosion’ and the Irish Defence Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal were called in.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has launched an investigation into the incident.
A HSA spokesperson said: “The HSA are aware of this incident and have launched an investigation.”

Gardaí, the National Ambulance Service and Donegal Fire Service are at the scene and the road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
