GARDAI have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding a man’s death in South Donegal.
The victim, named locally as Patrick McGinty, died following an incident involving a quad bike.
The crash occurred on the Sunday when Mr McGinty, who was in his 40s, came off the bike while travelling on a local road at Mullinboys near Mountcharles at approximately 7pm.

He was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny Hospital and later transferred to Beaumont Hospital where he has since passed away.
