A 41 year old man has been charged with the murder of Convoy woman Lu Na McKinney in Fermanagh earlier this year. The man is due to appear in Omagh Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
He was arrested and detained in Derry last Thursday following an investigation into the death of the 35 year old woman who was on a boating holiday in Lough Erne at the time.
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Serious Crime Branch also been charged the man with Possession of a Class C controlled drug.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
