Man arrested and two men taken to hospital following alleged assault

Gardaí are investigating a public order incident and alleged assault that occurred at an address at Main Street, Letterkenny last night.

At approximately 9pm, Gardaí attended the scene following reports of an altercation involving a number of individuals.

One man in his 20’s was arrested at the scene and detained at a Donegal Garda station.

Two males, one in his late 20’s and one in his late 40’s, attended Letterkenny University Hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

The scene was preserved for technical examination.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing at this time.
