A MAN charged with sexual assault has been sent forward for trial to the next sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court.
The man who cannot be named to protect the identity of the alleged victim is charged with one count of sexual assault in 2007.
He also charged with criminal damage relating to the incident.
A book of evidence was served on the accused by Garda Darren Carter at a court sitting in County Donegal this morning.
Inspector John O’Toole told the court that the Director of Public Prosecutions consented to the accused being sent forward for trial to the circuit court.
Giving the accused his alibi warning, The judge sent him forward for trial to the next sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court commencing on April 28.
He was remanded on continuing bail to comply with medical directions and undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
