A MAN in his 80s charged with indecently assaulting a male is to be sentenced at Letterkenny Circuit Court later this month.
The offence occurred in Inishowen on a date unknown in 1982.
The man appeared before Letterkenny District Court on Monday, where Sergeant Maurice Doyle told the court that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has directed a trial on indictment at the circuit court, and to the matter going forward on a signed plea.

Judge Monika Leech sent the man forward for sentencing on October 28 at Letterkenny Circuit Court.
The court was told the man is currently on bail on his own bond of €150.
