A PENSIONER has died in hospital following a road traffic collision in Raphoe on Tuesday.
The 80-year-old man passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital earlier today (Thursday).
A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana confirmed his death and said ‘enquiries into the single vehicle collison are ongoing.’
Around 10am on Tuesday, Gardaí and the ambulance service attended the scene of a single road traffic collision at Meadowhill, Raphoe.
Diversions were put in place and the road was closed for a period of time.
The Garda Spokesperson said, “An 80 year old man who was hospitalised following a road traffic collision at Meadowshill, Raphoe, County Donegal on Tuesday July 13, 2021 died earlier today, Thursday July 15, 2021.”
