A DONEGAL man has pleaded guilty to sexual assault.
The man who is in his fifties and may not be named to protect the identity of the victim is charged with one count of sexual assault in 2014.
Solicitor, Mr Frank Dorrian told Judge Paul Kelly at this morning’s sitting of Letterkenny District Court that his client pleaded guilty to the charge.
Inspector Michael Harrison told the court that the case would have to be heard in camera. A publication order had previously been put in place.
Ordering the preparation of a probation report, Judge Kelly adjourned the case to the sitting of Letterkenny District Court on June 17.
