NEW Finn Harps defender Matthew Makinson says that Dave Rogers’s ambitious plans for the future are a key reason as to why he decided to move to Ireland and join the Ballybofey club.
Makinson is ready to embrace a new challenge and has signed an 18-month contract at Finn Park.
It has been a testing season so far, but with Makinson and seven other new signings featuring last week against Bray Wanderers, there were improvements even if the team had to settle for a draw.

Englishman Makinson looked the part in the backline and appears to be a shrewd signing.
He explained how the move came about.
