MOTORISTS travelling along the main Letterkenny to Derry road this evening encountered major delays following an incident involving a 40ft lorry, loaded with straw bales, which shed part of its load in Burt at approximately 6pm.
The incident led to the main road being closed between the Castlecooly Junction and Burt Chapel resulting in substantial tail-backs.
Gardai, ambulance and Fire brigade personnel are on the scene and diversions have been put in place.
