Major fundraiser launched to complete vital renovations

A MAJOR fundraiser hopes to raise €30,000 to complete vital renovations to the Coole Cranford Community Centre.

This initiative comes after a €300,000 funding award from Pobal, requiring the community to match €30,000 to bring this project to fruition.

The proposed renovations include the installation of new changing rooms and toilets, kitchen and versatile function rooms. These enhancements will significantly benefit the community, providing a more functional and welcoming space for sports, recreation activities, meetings, parties, learning groups, and more.

“We are thrilled about the potential that these renovations hold for our community,” said Patrick Logue, Chairperson.

“With the support of our community and donors, we can create a space that meets the needs of our community and continues to serve as a hub for connection, learning, and fun.”

To meet their goal, they are reaching out to community members, local businesses, and anyone passionate about the community space to contribute to their GoFundMe campaign.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings them one step closer to achieving their vision.

As a token of gratitude, the names of all contributors will be honoured on a Donor Wall, celebrating the collective effort that made the renovations possible.

The renovations are not just an investment in the physical structure of the Coole Cranford Community Centre but an investment in the future of the community.

The new facilities will enable them to host a wider range of activities and events, promoting community well-being and togetherness.
