Major decrease in number of patients on trolleys at LUH

Just three patients are on trolleys at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning.

Yesterday there was 14 people awaiting beds at the hopsital, a drop of eleven this morning.

One patient is currently waiting on a bed in the emergency department, with two more on wards elsewhere in the hospital.

426 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.

338 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 88 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
