The newly-written play ‘Máire’ by Noel Ó Gallchóir will be performed in An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny, tomorrow evening at 8pm.
The play is a dramatic portrayal of the life and works of Séamus Ó Grianna, one of the Irish language’s foremost writers.The play features excerpts from his most famous novel ‘Caisléain Óir’.
The night will consist of of a variety of performances through the medium of Irish, including live music after the play. There will be songs from Seoirse Ó Dochartaigh, Donal Mac Daibhéad and Aodh Óg Ó Duibheannaigh.
