Works will be carried out between 8am and 6pm and crews will endeavour to complete the essential cleaning works and restore the supply to normal levels as quickly as possible.

Speaking about the maintenance works, Uisce Éireann’s Damien O’Sullivan said: “These cleaning works of our reservoirs are necessary to continue to provide a safe, clean and reliable supply to customers.

“We will make every effort to avoid water supply outages, however, some customers may experience a water supply outage for a short period only.

“Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience when planned works like this occur and thanks customers for their patience while we complete these essential maintenance works.”
