FINN Harps defender Packie Mailey has urged soccer followers in Donegal to come to Finn Park on Friday night for the second leg of his team’s First Division play-off with UCD.

The Harps supporters were magnificent at the UCD Bowl last Friday  night and Mailey is hoping for more of the same this week, as the club try to take another step towards promotion.

“The travelling fans were fantastic from start to finish (last week),” said Mailey.

“You could hear them and they kept us going in that final ten minutes when the pressure was on. They were our twelfth man.”

“Hopefully when we take them back to Finn Park, the numbers will improve again and they’ll drive us on to try and get over the line.

“It’s great for the club to be in the position that we are in and hopefully, because we’re the county’s senior club, the people of Donegal will come out and support us.”
