Barry Mackey helped Ireland to fourth place in the team event in the 8km cross country at the European Masters Championships in Torun, Poland.
The Letterkenny AC man finished 16th in the M60 event an impressive time of 36:17 and was the second counter on the team.
Paul Cowhie was the first Irishman home in fourth place while Michael Cornyn was just behind Mackey in 17th as Ireland finished fourth behind hosts Poland, United Kingdom and Italy.
Elsewhere, Catriona Devine took silver in the W50 1500m, with the Finn Valley woman finishing in a time of 5:04.71, behind Spain’s Sonia De La Calle Gomez.
Her sister, Sinead McConnell, took two medals as she finished second in the 5k race walk in 27:16, a new Irish record.
McConnell’s silver helped Ireland to bronze in the team event.
Fellow Finn Valley athlete Kay Byrne placed seventh in the W60 1500m at the same championships, crossing the line in 5:44.60.
Byrne already picked up two medals at the championships, winning bronze individual and team gold for Ireland in the W55 cross country event.
Garvin Boyce set a new Personal Best as he finished 5:14.06 in the M50 1500m heat but missed out on a spot in the final.
Noreen Bonner was fourth in the W65 8km Cross Country.
