MacFADDEN, Kathleen (née Doherty) – Downings, Co. Donegal and formerly Main Street, Falcarragh, 5th March 2018, in her 101st year, peacefully at Mount Hybla Nursing Home, Castleknock, Dublin. Beloved wife of the late Jack MacFadden, ex-NT and last surviving child of the late Antoine Ó Dochartaigh (Cruit Island and Falcarragh) and of Mary (née McCann, Templemoyle), mother of the late Ethna Hogge and mother-in-law of the late Anne MacFadden (Beck).

Deeply missed by her loving family, Maureen Bourke (Drogheda), Ciaran (Sligo), Aedan (Rosslare), Declan (Singapore), Sean (Sligo), Ronan (Bettystown), Dairine MacFadden (Brady, Dublin), Raymond (Dublin), Orla Finnegan (Granard), sons-in-law Seán, Brendan, John, daughters-in-law Moira, Breda, Phyllis, Jean, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, friends, carers and wonderful neighbours in Downings.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, Dublin 3, on the 6th March from 3 pm to 8 pm. She will be waked in her home in Downings from approx. 4 pm on Wednesday until her Removal on Thursday to the Church of St. John the Baptist, Carrigart, to arrive at 6.30 pm. Requiem Mass on Friday the 9th March at 11 am, followed by burial in local cemetery.
