MacCumhaill’s impress in derby win

Glenfin 0-14 Sean MacCumhaill’s 3-15

Sean MacCumhaill’s were comfortable winners against their neighbours Glenfin in the Senior Football Championship this evening.

The match was rescheduled following the sad passing of Gareth Martin and a minute’s silence was observed beforehand as a mark of respect.

After a tight opening, MacCumhaill’s led by 1-9 to 0-6 at half-time following a goal from Joel Bradley Walsh.

It was Bradley Walsh who grabbed the second goal while Steven O’Reilly also found the net.

Oisin Gallen was brilliant for the winners while Shaun Ward kicked some great points for Glenfin.

The Twin Towns men are now on four points and face Kilcar on Saturday at home.

Glenfin remain on two points and their final game is away against Aodh Ruadh.
