LYIT offers support for Leaving Cert students

LETTERKENNY Institute of Technology (LYIT) is reminding students collecting their leaving cert results this morning that they are offering advice throughout the week.

Fiona Kelly, Schools Engagement Officer, said: “It’s Leaving Certificate Results Day and Letterkenny Institute of Technology is here to help. We are taking calls all week, even if you have not selected LYIT in your CAO choices, please don’t hesitate to call us. We are here to provide advice and support and as the Round 1 CAO offers go out this Thursday 15 August we are here to answer your questions on offers, acceptances and much more.

We have a hotline service open from Tuesday morning 13 August and we’ll be available each day to take your queries and calls. In addition to this, if you have failed Ordinary or Honours Level Maths, do not panic, we also offer the Enabling Maths Initiative at LYIT, an initiative that is here to support students that have failed Maths.
