LUH staff make special donation to Donegal Donkey Sanctuary

By Dionne Meehan

THE staff of the Emergency Department at Letterkenny University Hospital donated €600 to Donegal Donkey Sanctuary this week.

Sadly, their staff member Johnny Keating tragically passed away in recent times and his friends and colleagues held a collection in his memory on what would have been his 40th birthday.

Mr Keating was an animal lover and had two rescue dogs called Jinx and Harvey so it was a wonderful way for his friends to honour his memory.

The cheque was presented to Danny and Else Curran by Sandra Keeney, Serena Kho and Caroline Timoney.

Also pictured are their beautiful dogs Nala and Milo who instantly fell in love with little Rose, the sanctuary’s youngest resident.
