THERE are twenty patients waiting on trolleys at Letterkenny University Hospital today, according to the latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).
There are 12 patients waiting on a bed in the emergency department and eight people on trolleys elsewhere in the hospital.
LUH is the second most overcrowded hospital in the country today, behind University Hospital Limerick where 39 patients are waiting on trolleys.
