Lough Swilly VTM van stolen

THE Lough Swilly Vehicle Testing Centre at Bonagee in Letterkenny has appealed for information on their  Ford Transit van used for vehicle break-downs which was stolen from the centre on Sunday evening.

A spokesperson for the company estimate the time of the theft at around 5.30 pm.

The thief got in through a small window after climbing over the premises gates.

They stole the white van which is merchandised with the Lough Swilly Test Centre name on it and the company logos. Its registration number is 06 D 34600.

The van contained many of the expensive and essential tools the company use to assist vehicles which break down – a compressor as well as a large quantity of tools and a booster for starting vehicles.

Anyone who has seen the van or has any information leading regarding its where-abouts is asked to contact gardai at Letterkenny Garda Station on  074 9122222 or the Lough Swilly Test Centre on 074 9122873.
