BESTSELLING author Lorna Byrne has cancelled her Letterkenny event this Wednesday due to severe weather warnings in place across the country.
500 people were scheduled to attend the ‘Lorna Byrne in Conversation’ event in the Clanree Hotel however the Kildare native has been forced to reschedule as the country braces itself for sub-zero temperatures and heavy snow especially along the east coast.
A statement released this afternoon said: “Due to the severe weather warnings in place across the country the upcoming Lorna Byrne in Conversation event at the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny this Wednesday 28th February has been postponed. The event will now take place on Wednesday, 28th March 2018 at 7pm.
“All tickets purchased will be valid for the new date and all ticket holders are advised to check their emails for more details.”
