Long journey home for Harps as Cobh take three points

Cobh Ramblers 2 Finn Harps 0

It’ll be a long journey home for Finn Harps as they were defeated by Cobh Ramblers in St Colman’s Park.

Liam Kervick’s volley on the half hour mark after a free kick was hit long and he reacted quicker than the Harps defence to fire into the far corner opened the scoring.

The Harps looked for an equaliser but the hosts had the better chances and they wrapped up the win in added time with a quick counter attack and David Bosnjak held off the challenges to get a shot off in the box and he found the far corner.

The loss leaves Finn Harps in fourth place in the table and they face UCD at Finn Park next Thursday before the summer break.
