Lomboto spot on as Harps claim much-needed win

Finn Harps 1-0 Dundalk

FINN Harps have claimed their first win in eleven games after they edged out high-flying Dundalk at a damp Finn Park this evening.

Harps took the lead from the penalty spot in the 61st minute. Gradi Lomboto kept his cool with a smart finish after Joel Thompson was fouled.

Teenage goalkeeper Corey Sheridan made a wonderful save to tip Eoin Kenny’s shot onto the crossbar after that.

Conor Tourish was back in the Harps team this evening and he was a tower of strength as his club picked up only a fourth victory of the season.
