At a recent presentation function held in Ionad Naomh Pádraig, Dore, the Gaoth Dobhair based Crónalaght Windfarm presented cheques to local voluntary groups, schools and sports clubs.
Cheque presentations of €1,500 were made to the following schools: Scoil Chonaill, Bunbeg, Scoil Phádraig, Dore, Scoil Naomh Dúigh, Annagry, Scoil Naomh Oilibheár Pluincéad, Ranafast, Scoil Eoin Pól, Loughanure, Scoil Mhuire, Derrybeg, Scoil Adhamhnáin Naofa, Lunniagh, Scoil Bhríde, Meenacladdy and Pobal Scoil Ghaoth Dobhair.

Cheques for €3,000 were presented to the following: Ionad Naomh Pádraig, Dore, Donegal Cancer Flights and Services and St Mary’s Branch of St. Vincent de Paul Society in Gaoth Dobhair.

The following received €1,000: Ionad Lae Ghaoth Dobhair, Derrybeg, Comharchumann Forbartha Ghaoth Dobhair, Naiolann Ghaoth Dobhair, CLG Ghaoth Dobhair, Gweedore United FC., Gweedore Celtic F.C., Dunlewey Celtic F.C., and Galf Chumann Ghaoth Dobhair.

Representatives from CLG, Gweedore Utd, Gweedore Celtic, Dunlewey Celtic, Golf Club, Cumann na gCurach and Sciobál na bhFear who received the cheques.
The following received €500: Scioból na bhFear, Gaoth Dobhair, Scioból na mBan, Gaoth Dobhair, Scioból an Phobail, Anagaire and Cumann na gCurach, Gaoth Dobhair.
