The TCS Letterkenny Global Delivery Centre hosted a visit by two of the company’s most senior cybersecurity leaders, Ganesa Subramanian Vaikuntam, VP & Global Head of the Cybersecurity Business Unit, and Ravi Yadav, Global Head – Cyber Security for BFSI Business Group. Taking place on Friday, December 15th, this significant event underscores the strength of cybersecurity in Ireland, in particular, the prospects for the North West region and the progress and achievements of the TCS Letterkenny Global Delivery Centre to date, in building and establishing a real centre of excellence around cybersecurity services.
The visit culminated with a demonstration of TCS’s commitment to education, as the two visiting business leaders presented 50 laptops to local schools, including Scoil Iosagain Buncrana and Carrigans Primary School – Scoil An Leinbh Íosa.
This impactful gesture aligns with TCS’s broader Corporate and Social Responsibility program, which has already provided 120 laptops to the Donegal Intercultural Platform, supporting refugees and empowering students for a technology-driven future.
Adding a touch of sustainability, the visit concluded with a symbolic tree planting ceremony, symbolizing TCS’s dedication to eco-friendly practices and contributing to the local environment.
Chris Lynch, Head of Business Services, TCS , stated: “This visit not only highlights the strength and growth of our Cyber Security offering here in Letterkenny but also underscores the strategic importance of cybersecurity in safeguarding our digital future.”
