THE main Lifford/Letterkenny Road has re-opened following a multi vehicle collision near Tully’s Tyres, Mulnagung, Ballindrait.

Gardai have confirmed that one person was seriously injured in the crash involving a car and a van shortly after 8am this morning.

It is understood that the driver of the van was seriously injured and has since been taken to Letterkenny General Hospital. Two others have also been taken to hospital.

For a number of hours traffic was diverted through both Ballindrait and Raphoe.
