St Eunan’s clubman Fergus McGee was awarded a Lifetime Service to the GAA award at the Ulster GAA awards in Belfast on Friday night.
McGee has given great service to his club and county down through the years.
The Loughanure native held the role of Oifigeach na Gaeilge in Donegal while he also had a stint as Secretary of the Ulster Scór Committee, and is always promoting culture and the Irish Language in the county and province.
He later joined the Ulster Council, and was Chair of the Ulster Language Committee.
McGee was then elected Chairperson of Donegal GAA and held that role for one year.
A familiar face throughout Ulster, McGee is richly-deserving of his Lifetime Service award.
Burt clubman Manus O’Donnell was also celebrating at the Ulster GAA Awards as he was granted the Service through Education Award.
