DONEGAL’S favourite sister trio The Henry Girls this week announced a major headline show in Dublin’s Unitarian Church next month. The popular Malin sisters, Karen, Lorna and Joleen McLaughlin will be joined by none other than Liam Ó Maonlaí (The Hothouse Flowers) on the night.

Liam Ó Maonlaí has, of course, been at the forefront of the Irish music scene for decades, both as a solo artist and his band, The Hothouse Flowers, enjoying world-wide success.
Other special guests on the night include fellow Malin man and renowned singer/songwriter Marty Smyth and Letterkenny’s rising talent Leila Jane (Keeney). Marty Smyth has supported household names such as Rosanne Cash and has enjoyed great success with his songs being picked up by BBC and RTÉ Radio.

Now based in the UK, Leila Jane has been honing her craft as a singer and songwriter from a young age, showing great promise very early. She is definitely one to watch. There will also be support from Dublin duo jack Cody and Cian Ó Maonlaí at the concert which is being presented by Aiken Promotions.

This is the first time that The Henry Girls will perform at the well-known venue located at St Stephen’s Green West when they take to the stage on September 26.
