Following an interesting start to the competitions last weekend, the O’Reilly Sports LGFA Championship action continues this weekend.
In the Senior Championship, Termon will begin the defence of their title with a home tie against Aodh Ruadh on Sunday morning. The Ballyshannon ladies lost out to Moville in their first outing last weekend.
2024 finalists Moville will look to back up this win when they take to the field against St Eunan’s who lost out to Dungloe on home soil last Sunday.
Glenfin began their quest for a sixth senior championship crown with a commanding victory over Naomh Mhuire last time out and they’ll be seeking to make it two wins from two when they face Naomh Conaill in Glenties.
In the only other senior championship encounter, St Naul’s will travel to The Banks to face Naomh Mhuire who’ll be looking to right the wrongs from last weekend.
In the Intermediate Championship, Killybegs will look to build on a good opening day victory against Carndonagh when they make the trip to Downings.
Buncrana had a good victory over the 2024 Junior champions at the Scarvey last Sunday and they’ll also be seeking to maintain their 100% record against Carndonagh in an Inishowen derby.
Meanwhile, Gaeil Fhanada hosts Ardara at Pairc Ui Sheil in the last of the Intermediate matches this weekend.
In the Junior A Championship, Malin will welcome Sean MacCumahills to Connolly Park. The Twin Towns club enjoyed a fine victory over Kilcar last Sunday.
Malin lost out when they made the long journey to Donegal Town to face Four Masters who will be looking to make it two wins on the spin as they travel to Crampsey Park to play Urris.
Naomh Columba and Glenswilly both enjoyed good openings to their Junior Championship campaign last Sunday when they defeated Naomh Padraig Uisce Chaoin and St Mary’s Convoy.
The pair will face each other this Sunday at Pairc na nGael where one of the sides will lose their unbeaten record.

In Junior B, Aodh Ruadh 2 welcome Termon 2 to Father Tierney Park while Letterkenny Gaels will be looking to build on their opening day victory against the Burn Road side when they play St Michael’s on home soil.
