Letterkenny Youth and Community Club offer a heartfelt thank you

THE Chairman of the Letterkenny Youth and Community Club has offered a heartfelt thank you to all who played their part in the group’s successful application for grant funding from the Donegal Local Development Community Fund.

Paddy Delap said the club was delighted to secure funding of €149,917 which will enable them to upgrade their facilities at the Devlin Hall and also improve access.

“Many worked tirelessly to obtain this grant,” Paddy said.

“However, special words of thanks need to be given to Clare Molloy in recognition of her tremendous work in the gathering and completion of the necessary paperwork.

“Committee members of the Letterkenny Youth and Community Club and local councillors also played a significant role in securing this welcomed and much appreciated grant. Their efforts will greatly improve the provision on offer to young people, aged 10 and upwards, and all members of the Letterkenny community.

“As a result of the grant, they will be able to enjoy participating in a range of activities and socialise in a secure and safe environment in the club’s Devlin Hall premises on Lower Main Street in the town.”
