A LETTERKENNY woman appeared at the local District Court this week facing a total of 27 offences including assault, public order and theft.
Jodie Quill, Carraig Craobh, Crievesmith, was charged with the alleged assault at the Voodoo nightclub, Lower Main Street, Letterkenny, on September 18, 2022.
She was further charged with theft from the St Vincent de Paul shop, Ramelton Road, Letterkenny, on December 16, 2024, and with theft at the Sports Direct store, Courtyard Shopping Centre, on October 11, 2024.
The other offences relate to various dates over the past few years.
In relation to the assault charge, Sergeant Jim Collins asked that there be no interference with the injured party and no contact made with her.
Defendant was to notify Gardaí of any change of address and to ensure she was available by phone at all times.
She was also ordered to sign on once a week between 9am and 7pm at Letterkenny Garda Station.
Judge Éiteáin Cunningham ordered the defendant to stay away from the premises in the Courtyard Shopping Centre and the St. Vincent de Paul charity shop.
“You are to have no contact through social media, directly or indirectly, with the alleged injury party,” the defendant was told.
The case was adjourned to April 7 next.
