Letterkenny presenter Caoimhe Ní Chathail and South Armagh native Proinsias Ó Coinn are on a mission to get us thinking differently about our wardrobes.
Our shopping habits can have a terrible impact on the environment and on our planet.
Every year millions of tonnes of clothing are burned or dumped in landfill, yet for many of us our fast fashion addiction continues.
Éadaí SOS is back for a new second series with presenters Caoimhe and Proinsias challenging four clothing-obsessed fashionistas to alter their fashion habits and embrace a more sustainable way of enjoying their passion for fashion.
The new four-part series, made by Waddell Media for BBC Gaeilge and TG4 with support from Northern Ireland Screen’s Irish Language Broadcast Fund, starts on Monday 26 June at 10pm on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two Northern Ireland – with the full series available to watch on BBC iPlayer from then.
Each episode features a lover of fast fashion with an overflowing wardrobe and a tendency to splash the cash on outfits for every occasion – with no consideration for the consequences to the planet.
The full series will be available on BBC iPlayer from Monday 26 June with the first episode on BBC Two Northern Ireland at 10pm.
